  2. Tick "Editable link" Instead of encoding your URL directly, the QR encodes a short Qodie link that forwards to it. That indirection is what makes it changeable.
  3. Re-point it whenever you need Open the code's page, type a new destination, save. Every future scan goes to the new link — including from codes already printed and out in the world.

What is an editable QR code?

A QR code that encodes a short redirect link instead of your final destination. Because the printed pattern points at that redirect, you can change where it leads at any time without generating or printing a new code. They are also called dynamic QR codes.

Can I really change the link after printing?

Yes — that is the entire point. The printed pattern never changes; only the destination behind it does. Update it from the code's page and the next scan goes somewhere new.

How is this different from a normal QR code?

A standard (static) QR code has your URL baked into the pattern itself. It works forever and needs no service to stay online, but changing the destination means making a new code. An editable code trades that independence for the ability to change later.

Can I see how many times it has been scanned?

Yes. Every editable code shows a running scan count on its page — a single honest number, not a dashboard you need to learn.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your printed codes keep resolving. We do not hold your redirects hostage — but you will not be able to change destinations or create new editable codes until you resubscribe.
